Retaining Wall Assessment & Repairs – HMRI

Izzat Consulting Engineers were engaged by APP to conduct a structural review of an existing anchored concrete retaining wall at the Hunter Medical Research Institute.

During the investigation it was noted that the retaining wall had not been designed to allow for increased load on the wall caused by water pressure build-up. As a result, Izzat were required to find a solution which would relieve the water pressure in a cost effective and efficient manner.
