New Residence One Mile Beach

Izzat was engaged to carry out the structural design and documentation of this new two storey residence with lap pool. The structure consists of  steel and timber frames  with a timber mini-pile supported footing system.

Izzat also carried out the design of the concrete lap pool. Site specific challenges included a slope stability issues due to loose sands, high wind loads and corrosive environment both due to the location and topography. Izzat carried out construction inspections at critical stages.

The project was completed in 2003.
