Investigation/Remediation of Existing Pool at Cranbrook School

Izzat carried out an inspection of the deteriorating pool structure with primary consideration of safety and ongoing use of the pool.

The pool was suffering from advanced concrete spalling and reinforcement corrosion to supporting beams and columns, primarily due to seepage of chlorinated water.

Structural assessment and temporary strengthening of the cantilevered concourse was undertaken to allow ongoing use of the pool facility until such time that a full repair could be completed.
