Izzat Consulting Engineers carried out the structural and civil engineering design for a new residence at the high profile site of Bar Beach . Our involvement was in conjunction with Stephen Gray at Liquid Architecture Newcastle.

Our role included design of all structures and stormwater systems on the high profile site at Bar Beach. Challenges included the irregular sloping roofs, large open spaces, charged stormwater system and the unusual building shape given the restrictions of the small site.

The building was constructed by Rayfield Constructions. Izzat carried out regular inspections during construction which was successfully completed in 2019.
