Izzat is pleased to share the completion of this alterations and additions project in collaboration with Bourne Blue Architecture located in Newcastle, NSW.

Izzat carried out the engineering design to the existing four storey terrace with harbour and ocean views on The Hill. The scope of this project included:

• replacing the top level
• demolition and replacement of the rear north facing rooms on each level
• new garage
• new terrace at the rear

Challenges included rectifications of the existing building, mine subsidence requirements for the new additions to the building as well as an heritage listed well under the house which couldn’t be touched.

The works were successfully completed in 2024 for some very happy owners who can now enjoy the amazing view in their retirement.
